We are seeking a part-time sales professional for our Brooklyn boutique. This position will entail working 2-4 days a week. Please note weekend availability is required. This is a fantastic opportunity for a knowledgeable retail professional with an entrepreneurial spirit.
Key job responsibilities will include:
- Develop and demonstrate product knowledge as it pertains to our precious and semi-precious fine jewelry.
- Interact with clients to help them find the perfect piece for any occasion or gift.
- Interact directly with clients to help facilitate jewelry repairs and provide hospitality and warmth during every interaction.
- Assist with merchandising, organizing jewelry within showcases and drawing on your creativity to create appealing visual displays throughout the store.
- Take on special projects to build your jewelry knowledge.
- Support management in maintenance of inventory.
Requirements for this candidate:
- Equivalent work experience.
- 2-5 years experience, high-end boutique or jewelry preferred.
- Strong organization, time management and prioritization skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and POS systems.
- Ability to handle customer inquiries with tact and grace.
- Must be a dynamic and energetic team player.
- Strong sense of personal style with a love of fashion & jewelry.
- A strong value system including, but not limited to, honesty, dedication, and trustworthiness.
- An interest in growing personally and professionally within a dynamic organization.
Compensation: Starting $22 hourly wage and commission DOE.
