title of work, a luxury jewelry and accessory brand, is seeking an experienced and connected Wholesale Sales Associate to expand our presence across premier U.S. and international retailers. This role is focused on driving growth through strategic wholesale partnerships and cultivating new relationships with key buyers and retail partners. The ideal candidate has an existing network within the luxury / designer retail landscape, with a proven track record of scaling product distribution and sales.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify, pitch, and secure new retail partnerships with top-tier domestic and international retailers.
- Manage and build long-term relationships with wholesale buyers to optimize sell-through.
- Oversee product coordination & distribution from start to finish, manage purchase orders, and develop retailer guidelines for wholesale accounts.
- Support assortment planning, ensuring alignment with brand positioning, overall business objectives and seasonal strategy(s).
- Collaborate with internal teams on merchandising, pricing, and marketing initiatives to support retail launches, activations, and ongoing sales efforts.
- Ensure efficient transaction process between production, logistics, and retail partners.
- Track performance metrics, analyze wholesale sales data, and provide insights to meet business goals & guide growth opportunities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Established, pre-existing relationships with key buyers at top US & international retailers; such as Maxfield, Dover Street Market, and Bergdorf Goodman.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in wholesale, retail partnerships, or brand sales within the luxury / designer jewelry, or accessories industry.
- Strong understanding of wholesale sales cycle, inventory management, and client-retailer business processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills to support efficient & timely business operations.
- Self-motivated, strategic, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
