We are expanding our sales team and seeking an assistant to help us develop qualified sales leads. The successful candidate will be tasked with updating our CRM, developing, and managing new prospect databases, and communicating with them. The p/t position is based in our office in Great Neck.
Job Summary
Responsible for generating new sales opportunities via phone, email or other electronic communication. Thid role will not be responsible for closing sales.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities
· Lead generation. Finding new prospects for the company
· Research potential leads from business directories, web searches, or digital resources.
· Communicating with prospects, making outbound calls to potential customers, and following up on leads.
· Some cold calling; making multiple outbound calls to potential clients.
· Answering potential customers' questions and sending additional information.
· Use CRM software to maintain a database of current information on new sales opportunities as well as existing customers
· Track sales cycle progress on a monthly and quarterly basis to make sure customer acquisition goals are met.

US citizen or Green Card holder
This is a goal-oriented position and performance will be tracked and rewarded.
Hours
We are seeking candidates that can work 12 to 15 hours per week. Hours are flexible: scheduled from Monday through Friday between 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Education and Experience
This is the perfect opportunity for a college student looking to work part-time and gain valuable work experience. However, it is not a summer job. At a minimum, an HS Diploma or GED is needed.
Compensation
$17 to $20 per hour, based on experience.
