First opened in 1970, Tango is a high end women's boutique located in the heart of Brooklyn Heights. We take pride in our business being the only neighborhood one-stop boutique carrying clothing, footwear, accessories, handbags lingerie, jewelry, and hosiery.
Our designers include: Frame, Vince, Judith & Charles, Theory, Clare V, Sablyn, La Prestic Ouiston, White + Warren, Majestic Filatures, AG, Citizens of Humanity, Agolde, James Perse, and many more.
We currently have full and part time positions available for talented and creative retail stylists who are passionate about customer service, can effectively style clientele, and are able to engage existing customers while developing a viable client base.
Responsibilities:
Client Service and Selling
- Greeting and engaging customers
- Identifying clients’ needs and helping them find clothing in our store
- Creating complete head to toe looks
- Offer clients styling tips
- Select and recommend shoes & accessories that complement client’s outfit
- Suggestive selling and upselling
- Provide a courteous and informed customer experience
- Maintaining an accurate and effective customer book
Visual Merchandising
- Monitor and maintain visual merchandising standards
- Ensure representation of all styles and sizes are on the floor
- Fold, straighten and ensure the proper placement of merchandise throughout the day
Other Duties
- Accurately and efficiently receive new merchandise
- Data entry for new merchandise into QuickBooks POS system accurately
Qualifications
- Having at least 2 years of SIMILAR retail SALES experience
- An awareness of the brands that are represented
- MUST be a team player and flexible based on the needs of the business
- Hands on experience with QuickBooks POS
- Social media proficiency
