AUDIO TECH/SOUND PERSON SAUGHT FOR REGULAR EVENT WORK
Blue line Productions, founded in 2011, seeks an AV tech that is proficient as a sound engineer for regular works. Necessary skills include the ability to transport and setup equipment, a knowledge of various types of microphones, an understanding of speaker placement, and a willingness to work in a variety of environments at events in New York and New Jersey. (These are mostly very formal, high end venues.)
The work may include sound for panels, podium microphones, band sound, DJ riders, fireside chats, livestreams, live recording, and other related activities that include or encompass live sound. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of other aspects of audio visual and staging practices, but this is not required.
We are in Wayne, NJ. A candidate must be able to easily arrive in this location and have a valid driver’s license. A candidate must be willing to work at events in both NJ and NY.
Events are at various times of the day. Many are in the afternoon or evening. Some are in the morning.
