Hey, I am in a very interesting position right now and I’m looking for someone to partner with. I recently signed a deal with a production company to produce a tv show that I wrote and will be producing. The thing is, the production deal only covers production costs. The company wants to use my show concept to showcase their skills and have something cool under their belt as they’re a new company. This means that I am responsible for all other costs. Actors, extras, locations, etc. I have some ideas on how to attain those funds as I am in talks with seed & spark and working on acquiring some product placement deals. However, I am totally open to other ideas and bringing on a financial partner or someone experienced in fundraising would probably be a good idea. I am currently sitting on my back patio smoking and drinking a beer trying to not pull my hair out figuring this whole thing out. I should also note I already have connects to a distributor that works with Netflix, Hulu and Tubi. I refuse to lose this opportunity over production costs.
