Business is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for construction projects located in NYC
Capability to work on Commercial Construction Buildings
3 plus years of Mechanical HVAC experience preferred
Must have knowledge of HVAC systems
Able to explain and demonstrate the equipment
Experience with cooling towers, chillers and rooftop condensers
Highly organized and detail oriented with strong HVAC/ Mechanical problem-solving skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in computer and software skills (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, with the ability to learn new systems quickly)
OSHA 30
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Handling day to day field /office duties
Be able to schedule and monitor project (labor time, subcontractors costs)
Maintaining /Oversee of material, equipment, submittals, read shop drawings, valve chart, O&M manuals, EUP and deliveries
Supervising and coordinating the activities of assigned personnel
Manage multiple simultaneous projects
Contact and work closely with subcontractors, construction managers and owners
Carrying out change orders
Additional duties as assigned
