AVAILABLE POSITIONS

CARPENTERS

Starting Pay: $25.00 - $32.00/hr.

Responsibilities:

Perform heavy gauge and light gauge metal and wood framing.

Install drywall and sheetrock efficiently.

Ensure quality craftsmanship in all aspects of carpentry and drywall installation.

Requirements:

Proven experience in carpentry and drywall/sheetrock installation.

Valid NYC OSHA card required—no exceptions.

4-hour scaffold card is a plus.

Able to lift heavy objects.

Experience in Queens, Brooklyn, Bronx, and Manhattan is preferred.

HOUSING INSPECTORS

Starting Pay: $24.00 - $26.00/hr.

Responsibilities:

Ensure compliance with New York State/City housing and building codes, and other applicable regulations related to housing conditions, structure, occupancy, and maintenance.

Approve work of restoration employees as required.

Maintain and update inspection findings and records, handle code enforcement and public record requests.

Inspect for housing/building code violations in multi-unit dwellings and determine substandard conditions.

Take photos of needed repairs and code violations.

Coordinate building, plumbing, electrical inspections for apartment repairs.

Prepare detailed reports on inspection results, including violations and hazards, and refer issues to appropriate inspectors.

Conduct progress inspections and report on repair work.

Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Two years’ experience in construction/restoration or related fields.

Knowledge of inspection techniques, troubleshooting skills for high-rise buildings and smaller facilities.

Strong written and oral communication, with good interpersonal skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Adobe).

Familiarity with Yardi program is a plus.

Knowledge of OSHA and safety requirements for restoration operations.

Must be available for emergency work.

Proficiency in a second language is a plus.

Valid NY, NJ, CT, or PA driver’s license required.
