We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible as a team member for maintaining our facilities and ensuring all equipment is in optimal working condition. Duties:
- Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment to identify and resolve issues promptly
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks on machinery, HVAC systems, electrical and other essential systems. Work on task such as painting, drywall, plaster, cement, locks, door repairs, security when needed, elevator repairs etc.
- Respond to maintenance requests from staff and address any concerns in a timely manner
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to complete projects efficiently
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities
- Assist in supervising external contractors when necessary
Requirements:
- Proficiency in English to effectively communicate with team members and read technical manuals
- Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair equipment is preferred
- Experience in facilities maintenance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve maintenance goals
- Customer service skills to interact with staff members professionally
