AVAILABLE POSITIONS
HEAD DIESEL MECHANIC (Queens, NY)
Starting Pay: $30 - $40/hr.
Requirements:
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States.
Minimum of 10 years of diesel vehicle relevant experience.
Must have own set of tools.
Mechanical and technical knowledge: use of computers and diagnostics tools to troubleshoot and repair all faulty equipment.
Be able to diagnose and repair: Electrical, Brakes, Exhaust, Suspension, Lights.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the proven ability to work effectively with employees at all levels.
Ability to work independently, exercise good judgment and seek additional information as appropriate.
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
SEWER DRAIN TECHNICIANS (All 5 Boroughs)
Starting Pay: $20 - $25/hr.
Requirements:
Valid New York State Driver’s License.
Knowledge of septic systems, sewer and drain systems, and underground piping.
Plumbing knowledge is preferred.
Must follow safety guidelines.
OSHA-30 & SS-10.
HIGH VOLTAGE ELECTRICIANS
Starting Pay: $36.88/hr.
Requirements:
Must have a valid Driver’s License.
Education Requirements: (You must meet one of the following requirements below):
Completion of a four-year full-time electrical line worker apprenticeship, telecommunications line worker apprenticeship or industrial electrician apprenticeship recognized by the New York State Department of Labor.
Four years of full-time journey-level.
Electrical line worker or power distribution electrician installing, maintaining, testing, and repairing high-voltage power distribution and transmission lines, equipment and systems, and industrial power cables.
Telecommunications line worker installing, maintaining, testing, and repairing multi-conductor communication cables in industrial applications.
Industrial electrician installing, maintaining, testing, and repairing high-voltage cable lines and electrical equipment in industrial applications.
Three years of full-time journey-level.
Two years of full-time satisfactory experience as an electrician, electrician’s helper, apprentice, or trainee performing or assisting in the work described above.
Graduation from a trade or technical school with a major course of study in electrical technology, or a closely related field, totaling 600 hours.
Graduation from a vocational high school with a major course of study in electrical technology, or a closely related field.
Graduation from an accredited college or university with an Associate’s degree, or higher degree, in electrical technology, or a closely related field.
