Eugenia Kim is looking for a hard-working seamstress/milliner with a sharp attention to detail and ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision. The individual must have excellent multi-tasking skills, the ability to handle a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Responsibilities:
Hand-sewing of trims to straw and felt hats and hair accessories, machine-sewing of cut-and-sew hats and trims, and fabric cutting, all for both samples and small production
Steaming straw and felt hats with an industrial iron
Inspect finished product for quality control and make any necessary adjustments or repairs
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualification:
At least 2 years of hand sewing and machine sewing
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurements and stitching
Part-time but flexible to more hours as needed during the busy seasons which are 4-5 times a year
Must speak English
