Pay: $17.00-$20.00/hr.Shift: 1st, 2nd, or 3rd ShiftLocation: Niagara Falls, NY.Description:POSITION SUMMARY:The Production Associate performs a variety of tasks involved in the manufacturing of thermal and heat exchange products. This includes stacking components, leak testing, painting, and assembling.MUST HAVES:-Blueprint reading, caliper experience and micrometers is a NICE TO HAVE! Performs core assembly functions in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Required to read and follow blueprints, worksheets, or other instructions to handle and assemble various components used to craft cores for heat exchangers Stack metal plates following blueprint specifications Perform leak testing process to identify any welding flaws, cracks, and/or leaks in heat transfer units Maintain and report inventory quantity count Inspect and record quality requirements of finished workpieces Ensure work area is kept clean and organized at all times Knowledge, understanding, and compliance with Boyd policies and procedures Report any possible problem or areas of improvement Utilize small hand tools for assembly and cleaning Perform data entry and record data on computer and by handSkills:General labor, Assembly, Packaging, blueprint reading, calipers, micrometer, Production, General production, Inspection, Hand toolAdditional Skills & Qualifications:-Strong attention to detail-Ability to perform tasks in a timely manner-Collect data, come to conclusions on "why" products aren't passing-Able to lift 15-30 lbs.-Hand and power tool experienceAbout Aerotek:We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
