Job Title: EHS and Quality Management System Summer Internship 2025Summary:This assignment will allow you to engage in a short-term assignment with limited supervision. Among various responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to assist with establishing a Management Operating System for the EHS and Quality Centers of Excellence Function. You will also experience a wide variety of hands-on opportunities through direct interaction with other internal departments, vendors, and customers. This position will last approximately three months.Responsibilities Include:The role of EHS and Quality Center of Excellence is to develop and maintain company standards for EHS and Quality activities, develop tools and training, be subject matter experts to help solve problems and be mentors and coaches to the organization, be responsible for Momentive’s internal auditing program, track key performance indicators and drive continuous improvement in EHS and Quality and to support other functions in the same efforts. We enable business growth through keeping our people safe, protecting the environment, meeting customer needs and ensuring regulatory compliance. In the spirit of continuous improvement, our function is looking to find a better way to manage our operations. The manufacturing organization has been on a journey to develop a Management Operating System (MOS). We would like to develop a coordinated structure for our function to build on what has been learned by the other groups. There is an opportunity to use a digital platform to build the structure for this MOS and execute its various elements. We would like to build a pilot system within the digital platform to determine if we want to invest more fully in this strategy.Qualifications:The following are required for the role
Current enrollment in a Baccalaureate program in mathematics, engineering, or science discipline.
Proficient skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Ability and willingness to learn new digital platforms.
Strong communication skills.
Must have a high level of energy, a positive attitude, and strong work history.

Program Requirement
The candidate must be actively enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at the time of application and for at least one semester following the conclusion of the internship.
The candidate is expected to be available to work in person 40 hours a week for 10-12 weeks between May and August.

Occasional lifting and moving up to 50 lbs. and the ability to comply with PPE requirements (ability to pass a fit-test and wear a respirator is required for certain positions/locations).The environment for this position is a Manufacturing setting, with exposure to outside weather conditions and loud noise. Candidates should be able to adapt to a traditional business environment.
