Job Title: Finance Intern - Year-long Rotational ProgramSummary:Join our rotational program in Finance where you will do 6 months in 2 rotations during the year. Our program is a year-long program running from Spring to Spring. Based out of our Niskayuna or Waterford, NY facilities, you will work full-time during summer break and the December break. During the school year, you will work 15-19 hours gaining exposure to different Finance functions.Responsibilities Include:Your tasks will vary depending on where in Finance the rotation is. We will have 4 rotations in the finance organization within the below departments.

Controllership: Gain hands-on experience in financial controls, external reporting, auditing, and accounting practices to ensure organizational integrity and compliance.

Business/Corporate Finance: Collaborate with our Business and Corporate Finance teams to drive success across various functions, including (but not limited to) Manufacturing and Commercial Finance.

Qualifications:The following are required for the role

Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related major.

Experience utilizing Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Program Requirements

The candidate must be actively enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at the time of application and for at least one semester following the conclusion of the internship.

The candidate is expected to be available to work in person throughout the duration of the rotational program.

Regularly required to sit, talk, and hear, use hands to type, handle or feel. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. Visual acuity to use a keyboard, prepare and analyze data and figures, transcribe, view a computer terminal, and do extensive reading. May require ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; or the ability to stand, walk, lift, carry, and move a light to medium weight. Requires good hand-eye coordination, and arm, hand, and finger dexterity, including the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and learn technical information.
