Mozaic (a chapter of The Arc) is hiring for a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)/Behavior Intervention Specialist 1(BIS1) in Yates County. This position will provide team-oriented services including developing and implementing Behavior Support Plans, Interaction Guidelines, and Medication Monitoring plans. Individual and group therapy may be provided as needed. LCSW / BIS1 and Responsibilities: The LCSW/BIS1 is responsible for developing and implementing Behavior Support Plans (BSP), Interaction Guidelines (IG), and Medication Monitoring Plans (MMP). These responsibilities include revising and creating new plans, collaborating with other agency departments, implementing data tracking systems, and conducting monthly data reviews. The LCSW / BIS1 provides in-service training, social work therapy, and participates in the treatment review process. Documentation of individual progress, completion of clinical billing, and participation in admission and discharge processes are required. The role includes developing assessments, conducting on-site observations, utilizing Electronic Health Records, and providing consultation on behavior management techniques. The LCSW / BIS1 advocates for individuals' rights, may work non-traditional hours, participates in Quality Assurance activities, and completes Incident Reports. LCSW / BIS1 Schedule & Rates: Scheduled Hours: 8:30 am to 4:00 pm Hours per Week: 37.5 Salary Range for full-time: $56,000 - $60,000 Plus $5,000 a Sign-On Bonus Location: Yates, Cayuga, or Seneca County. Master's degree in Social Work
Licensed and currently registered as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) by the New York State Department of Education; or Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Must have documented training in assessment techniques and behavioral support plan development.
Requires experience in working with challenging behavior, writing behavioral plans, facilitating groups, provision of Social Work services to families or case management, training in assessment techniques and behavioral program development,
5 years of experience with cognitively or developmentally disabled individuals preferred, or equivalent experience with non-intellectually disabled individuals or families .
