Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Loan Servicer/Administrator in Poughkeepsie, New York. The role involves overseeing loan processes, maintaining data integrity in all consumer loan systems, and handling member interactions professionally. The industry this role operates in requires knowledge about Accounting Software Systems, Appraisals, Closing Processes, and Commercial Lending.Responsibilities: Approve, deny, and counter-offer consumer loans according to industry best practices and communicate these decisions to members Ensure compliance with current regulations by issuing necessary documents required by Truth in Lending Maintain data integrity in all consumer loan systems Enter detailed comments in loan systems to support follow-up and document authentication practices Professionally handle member interactions over the phone, in writing, or in person in a timely manner Keep up with current developments and changes in regulations to maintain a satisfactory level of technical knowledge and professional skill Adhere to all policies, procedures, and regulatory agency requirements and participate in all required and recommended training and development Participate in Credit Union teams, projects, and strategic initiatives when the opportunity arises Commit to Lean Six Sigma practices and demonstrate teamwork and professionalism in all activities and responsibilities Ensure regular and predictable attendance and punctuality.
