As a key member of our team, you’ll provide the day-to-day leadership, support, and execution of project controls functions for the projects and program. You will be responsible for budget/cost control, change management analysis, forecasting, and reporting. You’ll report directly to the Jacobs Senior Project Manager but manage and solely be responsible to oversee and manage all project and program budget/cost controls, change management, reporting functions, updates, and presentations to all levels of management with Jacobs and the client.Join us and we will assist in continuing the development of your skills and exploring all that you can do across our global company, with opportunities to share your knowledge along the way.We’ll provide you professional growth when having you assist in the following…. Oversee project budget/cost management (e.g., project cost and commitments tracking, project cost forecast, labor, and other direct costs monitoring) Oversee the preparation of project monthly reports, weekly change management reports and the program’s online dashboard Ability to create and update CPM schedules in P6 Support and lead the team on all project budget, funding, and invoice related issues Develop and evaluate major program cost estimates and extended budget projections to identify and quantify critical budgetary, cost, schedule, technical, and programmatic risk factors Collaboratively work with the CM/GC PMs, PEs and when necessary, Superintendents on issues regarding change management and schedule. Utilize the Jacobs PMs and CMs to champion your leadership for overall change management processes Review or Create contract Work Orders/Field Orders/Purchase Orders, independent cost estimates, requisitions, and other procurement functions as needed Participate in program/project progress and status review meetings Communicate schedule status on a regular basis via formal and informal meetings and reports Contribute to the development of new techniques and standards Independently apply advanced techniques and analysis Review vendor and CM invoices and pay applications Manage the document control processAt Jacobs, we’re partnering across the globe to create the best project outcomes by maximizing the design, digital technology, and support capabilities of our Global Integrated Delivery (GID) teammates. Experience in managing work scope, budgets and schedules Strong negotiation skills Substantial professional years of project cost controls and project/construction management experience Professional experience with Primavera P6 scheduling projects, programs, and portfolios Experience in cost engineering functions, including cost estimating, cost control, change management, risk management, cost analysis and variance analysis Ability to develop and evaluate major program cost estimates and extended budget projections to identify and quantify critical budgetary, cost, schedule, technical, and programmatic risk factors Experience in processing change orders and claims on MTA projects Program Management related experienceJacobs is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
