Senior Engineer

Haley & Aldrich, Inc. has multiple openings for multiple positions including Senior Engineer for WFH opportunity, reporting to office in Rochester, NY.

Responsibilities: The Senior Engineer is responsible for conducting routine data collection, synthesis, and analysis using approved procedures. Conducting operations, maintenance, and optimization of remedial systems. Assisting in identifying technical issues and approaches for evaluation of environmental remediation technologies. Reviewing regulations and identifying appropriate treatment technologies to meet environmental regulatory requirements. Conducting laboratory bench tests to determine treatment waste technology applicability. Conducting site reconnaissance. Documenting project-related activities, including construction, operation, and optimization activities of remedial systems. Drafting technical sections of project communications and reports. Performing all work in accordance with company and client health and safety protocols. Contributing to development of technical approaches to problem solving. Assisting with the development of technical scopes of work and cost estimating for proposal efforts on small- to medium- sized project opportunities. Observing and documenting field investigations and construction/remediation activities. Supporting identification of opportunities to optimize/innovate existing and new procedures and systems. Up to 25% domestic travel required within the U.S. Employee may be stationed anywhere in the continental U.S., but will report to our Rochester, NY office.

Education: Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field (or foreign equivalent).

Requirements: 3 years of experience job offered or related position. Other special requirements include: 1 year of experience working with waste analysis, characterization, profiling, and disposal; 1 year of experience developing and implementing bench sale treatment processes; 1 year of experience developing and implementing micropilot scale treatment processes; 1 year of experience preparing groundwater discharge permits; 25% domestic travel required within the U.S.

Pay Range: $92,000 - $102,000
