We are an event space in an historic building in Fairport. We are looking for a cook with banquet/event experience. Everything we do is in-house so there is no off-site schlepping. Thursdays- Sundays are generally our busiest event days but any other day is possible.
We do a variety of events from brunch, lunch, dinner, both buffets and plated, stations, and afternoon teas. We do in house baking for the teas and some of the desserts for events, not part of the position, just letting you know some of the things we do. We also do our own events, like murder mystery dinners or seasonal dinners.
We are a small team, but we work well together. You will have input on our periodic menu changes as part of the team. We also have potential for growth if you are interested.
Hours will depend on the week, anywhere from 25 to 40 hours is a good guesstimate.
We are coming into our busy season and would like to start someone ASAP.
