I am looking for a person to work as a Community Habilitator (caregiver) need a Valid driver's license and clean record. Need someone Saturdays and Sundays during the day (8-2pm or flexible) and back up during the week. This means I will call you when my other staff call in or takes time off. Pay will be discussed privately.
Job Duties:
Transportation: Driving my van to community activities, appointments and other needed events as directed by me. These will include driving to me to therapies, shopping or any other activity I am attending.
General duties include, but are not limited to assisting with hands on activities, budget my money, and any assistance, as needed, while out in the community.
I may also request assistance with communication when my speech is not being understood.
Needs assistance with preparing and eating my meals. General household duties may include cleaning up after meals and helping me with my share of housekeeping. As needed. Assistance also includes helping me with outerwear when going out in cold weather.
Applicant should be comfortable using wheelchair tie downs in the van. Applicant will be trained on their proper use.
