What You'll Do: Core Responsibilities
As an essential member of our team, you will:
Provide stellar chairside support: Master four-handed dentistry to seamlessly assist the dentist during a variety of procedures.
Ensure patient comfort and safety: Manage infection control protocols, prepare and sterilize instruments, and set up/break down operatories post-treatment according to regulations.
Capture clear diagnostics: Take high-quality digital dental radiographs (x-rays).
Empower patients: Educate and instruct patients on essential post-operative oral care and hygiene strategies to maintain long-term oral health.
Keep things running smoothly: Perform various administrative and office tasks as necessary to ensure efficient patient flow and accurate records.
What You'll Bring: Qualifications & Skills
Required:
Certification: A valid Dental Assistant Certificate.
Experience: At least 1 year of hands-on dental assisting experience.
Soft Skills: A self-motivated, friendly, and collaborative team-player attitude.
Attention to Detail: Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Preferred (Bonus Points!):
Bilingual: Fluency in Spanish is a valuable asset but not required.
Software Savvy: Experience with Dentrix software or other dental practice management systems.
