Where do you "see" yourself?
Great opportunities to learn the ins and outs of eye care don't come along too often! Join this dynamic team at a state-of-the-art outpatient facility to provide patients with vital care during ophthalmic surgery and laser procedures.
As a circulating nurse, you will work closely with physicians and a broader care team to support patients clinically in the operating room.
Daily responsibilities will include:
- reviewing patient information and medical history
- assisting physicians with procedures
- monitoring patient condition during procedures
- medication administration
- patient education and communication
- documentation
- other duties as assigned
Days/Hours: Monday through Friday, with no on call, evenings, or weekends! Hours range between 6:30AM and 5:00PM.
Full time schedules are preferred, but part time will also be considered. Candidates must be available a minimum of 24 hours per week.
Salary: $34.00-$40.00/hr, depending on experience.
Benefits: FULLY COVERED single health insurance, dental insurance, 3 weeks of PTO, paid holidays, and retirement plan.
Minimum Qualifications:
- active NYS RN license required
- comfort working closely with the eyes
- ACLS certification required within 3 months of hire
- 1 year of experience in acute care required
- ambulatory surgery experience highly preferred
