Job description:
Local veteran own shop looking to hire experienced B tech motivated to help boost our shop hours. We are open from 8 AM till 5 PM Monday through Friday. No nights and no weekends. Our shop is clean, safe, well lit, and stocked with all Shop tools needed in order to provide the best experience for both our customers and our employees. We use the latest software and offer free training year-round for our technicians. Uniforms are provided, healthcare, and dental care are available, we offer paid vacations out of the box as well as paid time off and sickleave. ```Duties```
- Perform automotive repairs and maintenance tasks on a variety of vehicles
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Assemble, disassemble, and replace vehicle components as needed
- Conduct vehicle inspections and perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements
- Repair or replace damaged auto body parts and perform auto body repairs
- Use power tools and specialized equipment to complete repair tasks
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and explaining repair processes
```Requirements```
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, and HVAC
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve mechanical issues
- Skilled in performing auto body repairs and using welding techniques
- Familiarity with reading and interpreting schematics and technical manuals
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with customers regarding their vehicle repairs
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
