Small, established, busy, Webster-based, residential landscaping/lawn mowing company is HIRING NOW FOR ALL POSITIONS, superviser and crew! We operate from approximately late-March/early-April through mid-December on a, generally, Monday through Friday schedule except during high demand periods and following weather-related delays where there may be an occasional Saturday and rare Sunday
IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN JOINING US NOW WITH SIGHTS ON WORKING THRU THE REST OF THE SEASON--you'll enjoy great starting pay with the opportunity to make more. You may expect a performance review after 30 days and at your 3-month anniversary!
...WORKING SUPERVISOR--Bottom-Line: Requires previous--preferably a minimum of 2 years of verifiable, landscaping and/or lawn mowing experience along with a prior leadership role--Start @$16 - $21/hour
...CREW MEMBER--Bottom-Line: Must have AT LEAST ONE FULL YEAR of landscaping and/or lawn mowing experience--Start @$13 - $15/hour
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
⢠Have transportation to and from our Webster shop each work day (...not on a bus line)
⢠Able to, without a doubt, work the beautiful days as well as in weather extremes (hot, cold, wet, dry, windy)
⢠MUST have current + valid NYS driver's lic = less than 6 pts, no DWI/DUI/child-support suspensions
⢠Possess some mechanical ability to handle basic on-the-job fixes
⢠Have outside/home life in order/under control so that workday distractions are minimized
⢠Organized, neat, detailed, and thorough in the timely delivery of services
⢠Have an always-operational/working smart phone
⢠Able to safely operate tow vehicle/trailer combos (...Supervisor applicants, ONLY)
⢠Versed operating commercial mowers, trimmers, blade-edgers, hedge trimmers, chain saws, etc.
⢠Expect a work week of approximately 35 - 45 hours
⢠"Team player" but, able to also work well on own
