Responsibilities:
General Cleaning: Sweep, mop, dust, vacuum floors, clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces to ensure a spotless environment; as well as, other related tasks.
Trash and Waste Management: Empty trash bins, dispose of waste properly, and handle recycling as needed.
Physical Tasks: Perform light, medium, and heavy cleaning tasks, including lifting, bending, reaching, kneeling, and repetitive movements.
Safety & Security: Follow safety protocols, use personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary, and ensure the property is properly secured after cleaning.
Work Order/Checklist Compliance: Complete assigned tasks following work orders/checklists to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization.
Requirements:
Previous cleaning experience (preferred but not required).
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to take direction and work independently, as well as part of a team.
Excellent customer service skills and effective communication.
Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
High School Diploma/GED (preferred).
Reliable car and a valid NYS driver’s license required for transportation between job sites.
Reliable cell phone.
Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
Knowledge of cleaning procedures, materials, and equipment.
Familiarity with cleaning agents and their proper application.
Ability to follow written and oral instructions in English.
Bilingual skills are a plus.
