We're seeking a mature, detail-oriented professional for a part-time research and outreach role. You must be local to the Rochester, NY area, as some in-person training and occasional office visits are required.
Someone with 10–15 years of professional experience (not necessarily in a straight line—we value life experience and personal discipline more than titles). You may be in career transition, semi-retired, or simply looking for flexible part-time work in a low-drama, high-integrity environment. This is not a fast-paced corporate role—it’s a thoughtful and strategic position that values integrity, reliability, clarity, and the quality of execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Research potential business partners or leads.
Write and send outreach emails.
Track contacts and follow-ups using spreadsheets or simple tools.
Light digital marketing support (email campaigns, etc.)
Small team environment – you may occasionally wear different hats as needed.
Must-Have Qualities:
Extremely detail-oriented – our work leaves no room for mistakes
Self-directed, dependable, and well-organized
Solid writing and communication skills
Comfortable with Google Docs/Sheets or MS Office
Experience in business development, marketing, international work, or consulting is a plus
Speaking another language is also a bonus.
Position Details:
Part-time | 15 hrs/week; Flexible schedule
Pay: $20-25/ hour, plus performance-based compensation for successful partnerships
Hybrid (remote + occasional office visits in Rochester)
Mentorship and potential for a long-term full-time role.
