We are currently looking for a qualified Lead Fabricator / Welder to work in a fast pace small shop with a large amount of product diversity.
Hours are 7:00 am to 3:30 pm with occasional voluntary overtime when needed.
Required Skills:
Solid knowledge of all aspects of metal fabrication techniques.
Demonstrable experience building top quality metal fabricated products.
Proficient at M.I.G and T.I.G welding.
Ability to read and interpret diagrams, sketches, and drawings to perform tasks.
Experience with stainless steel, aluminum, and steel fabrication
Must be able to lift 50 pounds and spend long hours in a physically demanding work environment.
Expert at the use of the shop equipment typically found in a fabrication facility.
Proficient at ad hoc fabrication of complex assemblies to tight tolerances.
Excellent finishing skills
De-bur and grind metal as necessary, to achieve the proper surface finish.
Minimum of 5 years experience
Must have good communication skills.
Must be a team player
Must have creative problem-solving skills
Follow and enforce all safety rules and practices
Able to work early mornings, or after hours and weekends, if necessary
