POSITION: Fabricator/Assembler

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
● Performs complex lamination of Formica and other materials
(Having photos or examples of your experience in laminating would be helpful)
● Mastered basic carpentry skills and safety methods in using tools and materials standard
in furniture type manufacturing
Having welding experience could be utilized
● Ensures the accuracy of work by checking projects adherence to prints and customer
order specifications.
● Adheres to safety codes and guidelines.
● Performs other related duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EDUCATION:
● Ability to read customer order descriptions and complete given directives.
● Interest and ability to solve mathematical problems quickly and accurately.
● Thorough understanding of carpentry principles and methods.
● Work well as part of a team as well as to be able to work alone with minimal supervision
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
● Experience with Lean Supply Chain a plus.
● Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
● At least three years of experience via on-the-job training preferred.
SUPERVISORY FUNCTIONS AND SKILLS:
● This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
● Prolonged periods standing, climbing, bending, and kneeling.
● Must be able to lift to 50 to 75 pounds at a time.
● Must be able to safely work with sharp tools or power equipment.
