The ideal Office Assistant is a friendly, team-oriented, task-focused and organized individual with excellent communication and time management skills. The OA is integral to the function of the company and requires unparalleled attention to detail and ability to multitask. The OA reports to the Office Manager. Duties:
Answering and handling phone calls; directing inquiries to the appropriate department
Greeting/directing visitors/couriers
Relay messages, emails, and information within the company
Use of the phone and internal paging system
Learn to use internal software for tasks such as bookkeeping, data entry, order processing, invoice processing, report generation, etc.
Written, verbal, and electronic correspondence with customers, vendors, and carriers
Maintain and organize customer and vendor files
Maintain and organize printer accessories and inventory
Generate UPS and FedEx Shipping Labels
Obtain UPS and FedEx parcel shipping estimates
End of Day duties
Other tasks as required by the company
