Busy home care agency is looking for two Scheduling Coordinators. We are seeking two mature people whose passion is to serve the senior population. Person must be culturally diverse and compassionate. On the challenging days to maintain a professional, upbeat, understanding attitude. You must be good at puzzles, multitasking and meeting deadlines.

Duties:

-Schedule shifts and hours by matching caregiver qualifications and availability to the client needs.

-Communicates new assignments and/or schedule changes to caregivers and clients.

-Exercises ability to control over-time pay for caregivers.

-Exercises ability control payable time travel in between clients to the caregivers.

-Participates in on-call rotation as assigned. (up to one night per week and one weekend per month) (Oncall is answering the phones after hours for any emergency situation that occurs, this can be done from your home)

-Participates in client case conferences as requested by immediate supervisor.

-Is willing to carry out the role of a Comfort Keeper caregiver if needed.

-Helps to promote and generate good relationships with potential and existing referral sources.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

-Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions and document services provided.

-Must dress appropriately and professionally.

-Ability to speak clearly.

-Ability to actively listen.

-Able to work under pressure and in situations that demand patience, tact, stamina, and endurance.

-Experience with customer service and multi-line phones, with ability to actively meet customer’s needs.

-Excellent telephone etiquette and communication skills are necessary.

-Familiarity with computers and other office equipment.

-Strong customer service skills; organizational skills.

-Independent thinker with the ability for flexibility and creativity in finding and solving problems.

-A strong work ethic is necessary to focus on initiative-driven deliverables while maintaining goals of the business.

-Ability to learn from experiences and apply learned procedures appropriate for new.

Working Environment:

-Office environment

Education:

-High School diploma or GED and two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of scheduling and/or health care preferred

-Requires proficiency in word processing and computer skills (Office, Excel, ERSP would be helpful).

-Must be a great communicator and have excellent customer service, and organizational skills.

-Must be able to work under time pressures and manage multiple demands simultaneously.

-Must be able to pass a background check
