Immediate positions available at Basin Wine and Spirits in Pittsford, NY. Basin Wine is looking for fill part-time positions covering evenings and weekend hours. Flexibility in scheduling necessary including Holidays. The store is open every day of the year except Christmas. Candidates must have previous retail experience and possesses strong interpersonal skills that align with our customer focused approach to sales. Knowledge of wine and liquor is helpful but not required as we are looking for candidates interested in learning about wine and spirits in our fun fast paced environment.

Requirements:
o Demonstrate a customer first mentality
o Must be 21 years old
o Greet customers, determine needs and answer questions
o Previous retail or liquor/wine experience.
o Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays.
o Lift up to 40 lbs, stand for long periods, and repeated bending.
o Strong interpersonal skills
o Prepare store for daily opening and closing
o Operate sales register to complete sales transactions
o Stocking of shelves
o Answer phones in a professional manner
o Other duties as required
