Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The Delivery Driver can operate their own vehicle (with potential access to a company vehicle in the near future) to transport cannabis products to our customers. This role is crucial for ensuring timely, accurate, and safe deliveries while building positive relationships with our clientele.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely and efficiently deliver cannabis products to customers throughout Western New York.
Verify the accuracy of orders before leaving the facility and upon delivery.
Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor while interacting with customers.
Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.
Keep accurate records of deliveries, including delivery issues and customer feedback.
Communicate effectively with the dispatch team regarding any delivery issues or delays.
Assist with product preparation during slower periods to ensure operational efficiency.
Be flexible and available to cover other shifts as needed.
Qualifications:
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
A DMV driver abstract is required upon driving the company vehicle.
Access to a reliable vehicle for deliveries (personal vehicle required for now).
Previous experience in a delivery or customer service role preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Clean appearance and a positive attitude.
Must be available to work holidays.
Basic knowledge of cannabis products and regulations is a plus, but not required.
Must be at least 21 years old and comply with local and state cannabis laws.
Hours:
Monday through Thursday, 2 p.m. – 8 p.m. (with plans to extend to 2 p.m. – 10 p.m. in the near future).
This is a part-time position at first but will grow into a full time postion, with opportunities to cover other shifts as needed.
Compensation:
Pay is $17 CASH per hour, plus tips and $.25 mileage reimbursement.
