Sessco Dispensary is looking for enthusiastic, customer-focused individuals to join our team as Budtenders! At Sessco Cannabis, we pride ourselves on offering a welcoming, professional, and educational experience for our customers.
Ultimately, an outstanding Budtender should be able to demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills by ensuring that customers are well-informed and satisfied with their purchases. Our Budtenders are often the first experience a consumer has with our products, and it’s imperative that the experience is one of education, experience, and value.

What You’ll Do as a Budtender:
Customer Service: Greet and assist customers, providing a friendly and knowledgeable experience.
Product Expertise: Educate customers on our wide range of cannabis products, including flower, concentrates, edibles, and accessories.
Sales Support: Recommend products based on customer preferences, needs, and knowledge of cannabis.
Compliance: Adhere to all state and local cannabis regulations, ensuring proper customer identification and transaction protocols.
Store Maintenance: Help maintain a clean, organized, and inviting store environment.
What We’re Looking For:
Customer-Focused: Exceptional communication skills and a passion for helping others.
Cannabis Knowledge: A solid understanding of cannabis products and a willingness to learn.
Professionalism: Ability to remain calm and composed in a fast-paced retail environment.
Team Player: Collaborative, reliable, and supportive of team goals.
Preferred Experience: Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or cannabis (but not required—training is provided).
Budtender Requirements:
High school diploma or GED.
You’re at least 21 years old.
Sound knowledge of cannabis strains and their medicinal benefits.
Outstanding organizational skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication skills.
Exceptional customer service skills.
Hours & Compensation:
up to $20-25/hr depending on skill level. Open to part-time, full-time, and seasonal employees.
