Love cars? We’re seeking an entry-level used car sales person to assist customers in finding the right pre-owned vehicle to suit their needs and budget. You'll work closely with customers to understand their requirements, provide information about available inventory, facilitate test drives, and guide them through the purchasing process.
We are a 50-car dealership with a full-time opening for someone willing to learn the following:
- Lead Generation: Follow-up on phone and email leads responding to customer inquiries on vehicles.
- Customer Interaction: Greet customers, understand their needs, and guide them through the car-buying process.
- Product Knowledge: Develop a understanding of the dealership's used car inventory and pricing.
- Negotiation: Assist customers in negotiating pricing and financing options.
- Paperwork: Complete necessary paperwork including sales contracts and financing agreements.
- Follow-Up: Assist with any post-sale items to ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education or relevant coursework preferred.
- Previous sales experience in a retail or customer service environment is beneficial but not required.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with customers and colleagues.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Basic understanding of automotive technology and terminology.
- Ability to work independently.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed.
