DRYWALL FINISHERS WANTED
Drywall Finisher: tapes and fills joints between gypsum panels (drywall) to produce a smooth wall surface for the application of a decorative finish.
- Apply joint compound and tape to seal and smooth seams between drywall panels
- Sand and finish drywall surfaces to create a smooth and even texture
- Repair or replace damaged or cracked drywall panels as needed
- Work with other construction professionals, such as painters or electricians, to ensure proper installation and finishing of drywall
- Previous experience as a Drywall Finisher or similar role in the construction industry
- Familiarity with blueprint reading and schematics
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately
- Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality workmanship
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy mud buckets
- Knowledge of mold remediation techniques is preferred
- Experience with caulking and airless paint spraying is a plus
