A Rochester-based drywall repair company looking for an experienced drywall finisher to do small-to-medium sized residential and commercial repairs, small hang and finish jobs, Ceiling Texture removal, tetxure application, painting, and trim installation. We are a growing business serving customers from the Rochester are. Applicant must have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle. Excellent customer services skills, efficiency, and punctuality a must, as we are a company focused on customer satisfaction. All materials supplied by the company, weekly food and fuel allowances, and performance bonuses in addition to base pay. Responsibilities:
- Prepare drywall surfaces by removing old paint, wallpaper, or damaged areas
- Apply drywall compound to seams, joints, and nail heads
- Smooth and level compound using hand tools or mechanical sanders
- Repair cracks, holes, and other imperfections in the drywall
- Apply texture or decorative finishes to the drywall surface
- Follow blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate installation and finishing
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and within budget
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- 2+ years of working with drywall installation or repairs required
- Experience in construction, carpentry, or home repair a plus
- Clean driving record
- Candidates are required to possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and pass a pre-employment background investigation and drug test. Company vehicle will be provided after training period.
