Lathe Operator / Toolmaker
Ability to Run Manual Lathe and or CNC Lathe
Responsibilities
Review samples, drawings and specifications for each part to be produced
Assist with machine set ups (tolerances, speeds), tool changes, and offsets
Monitor machines to adjust feeds and maintain necessary parameters (i.e. temperatures)
Ensure parts are made to agreed upon specs; problem solve if not in spec
Use of calipers and micrometers
Keep set up records for specific parts
Follow safety requirements and maintain certifications
Conduct routine maintenance of machines
Requirements:
Ability to read blueprints
Ability to perform "shop" math
Attention to detail
Focused and alert
Experience as a CNC machinist A PLUS
Full Time - Flexible schedule available - 1st Shift
