We would like to find a reliable and responsible individual to join our team as a night time driver in the Rochester, NY area. The route starts in Rochester NY heading east to Cleveland Ohio with the final drop off in Rochester NY. Driver must be comfortable driving on highway and cities. MUST HAVE OWN CAR
This position is 80% driving and 20% customer service. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide Medical parcel delivery for clients (1-2 boxes per night) The uniform is business casual. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their job and is responsible. This route is averaging about 2-3 days a week. (THIS IS A ON DEMAND ROUTE)
Contract Length: 6 month
Responsibilities:
Safely operate own vehicles to transport parcel to designated locations.
Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.
Maintain cleanliness and proper maintenance of assigned vehicles.
Communicate effectively and have exceptional customer service.
Requirements
Must be available during night time hours, Monday - Thursday approx. 32 hours per week.
Valid Class D driver's license with a clean driving record (no exceptions).
Must pass a series of checks including drug test, driver check, background check
Previous experience in driving or transportation preferred.
Ability to perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles.
Must have a smartphone.
$30 dollars will be deducted from your check each week for Cargo Insurance and Contractor Insurance
Excellent time management, organizational, and customer service skills.
Must be comfortable in professional environments and adhere to professionalism at all times.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Compensation:
300 per night
Hours- 6 pm to 1:30 am
