Red Fox Medical Courier is looking for ONE part-time medical courier in the Rochester and Newark area Monday-Friday with a rotating weekend schedule.
Route 101 picks up medical specimens from 3 locations, all in Rochester. Pickup supplies around 8:45; 1st hospital arrival is 09:30 am. Total miles 35, estimate work time 2 hours. $50 a day, $250 weekly
The alternating weekend schedule is picking up at four hospitals in Rochester and Newark on Saturday, with a pickup location in Newark at 3:30. Driving samples to Buffalo Airport for an early morning flight, in addition to the route pay of $95, there will be an additional $90 payment for the trip to Buffalo.
This is not a simple pickup-and-go route; drivers will work with dry ice and gel packs to properly package up samples for shipment. Applicants should be able to handle bulky boxes weighing approx 20 lbs each. If you are looking for a rewarding route, this is a great opportunity, but it is work. If you are looking for a simple Amazon-type of job, this is not for you.
Interested applicants must be able to start immediately and be a US citizens. This is independent contract work, not a W2 employee. We do not supply a company vehicle; you will use your car. The daily rate is inclusive of fuel and tolls also.
In addition to online training, in-person cross-training is required. Applicants should have a vehicle newer than ten years old and be fuel efficient. Recommended is at min 20 mpg.
