Position Information Position Title Part Time Nursing Clinical Instructor Position Category Faculty Position Status FLSA Exempt Advertised Salary $819 per lab hour Department Nursing & Allied Health Working Hours General Description SUNY Niagara has an immediate need for part-time Nursing Instructors to teach in clinical areas of fundamentals (nursing home) 6.5 hours per week, Ortho/Neuro 12.5 hours per week, Pediatrics 12.5 hours per week lower level Maternity and lower level Medical Surgical in a Registered Nurse Associate Degree Program.Remuneration for this position will be: $819 per lab hour.The clinical assignments will be held once per week either with a 6 hour lab or a 12 hour lab. This position is an exempt position and the compensation earned for the Fall 2024 semester would be $4,914 for a 6 hour lab or $9,828 for a 12 hour lab.Paid orientation to teaching, responsibilities will be provided. Individuals with current clinical proficiency and/or teaching experience are particularly encouraged to apply. Bachelors of Science degree with a major in Nursing and a Masters of Science degree in Nursing. If candidate does not currently have a MSN must be either currently enrolled in a MSN program or intend on in enrolling within the academic year.

Recent (within 5 years) acute care experience.
