Aerotek is immediately interviewing and hiring for warehouse associates in the Albany area!Shift: 8:30am - 6:00pmPay: $16/hrDescription:A distributor of bicycle parts. Their customer base is bike shops throughout the country that repair and sell high end bikes. The warehouse worker is expected to read a pick sheet and navigate throughout the warehouse to pick the specified item/Items and pack it for shipping. J.B takes pride in its one day shipping so it is crucial that once and order comes in it is fulfilled right away. The warehouse worker my have to do some general cleaning and other warehouse duties when there is down time.ENVIRONMENT
Smaller warehouse environment
Candidates are able to listen to music and wear comfortable clothing as long as it is work appropriate
Clean work space
Busy season is the summer and other warmer months
TYPICAL DAY
Upon arrival they will be working off of pick sheets to pull orders
Candidates will be trained on where each item can be found
Once they pull the orders they will double check everything
Orders will be dropped in a certain area where they will box and label everything
