Maintains adequate supply levels for area. Guides the maintenance and cleanliness of equipment. Maintains required documentation.Job Responsibility
Generates high-quality images of patients in order to assist with diagnosis and treatment.
Places shields/aprons in order to limit radiation exposure.
Appropriately positions radiographic equipment or x-ray film to produce images with necessary detail or contrast.
Stores and retrieves patient records while maintaining patient confidentiality.
Prepares and maintains patient records to assure proper billing.
Prepares and maintains patient records to assure proper billing.
Develops films by automatic and manual processing, in accordance with established dark room procedures.
May perform basic equipment maintenance.
Maintains work area in efficient operating condition, trains new employees, and instructs students.

Job Qualification
Vocational or Technical school Diploma required.
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration, required, plus specialized certifications as needed.
3-5 years of technical experience, required.
