Req Number 130968Job DescriptionProvides support in the identification and management of active an prospective donors. Works to build and reinforce a 'culture of philanthropy' throughout the organization.Job ResponsibilityCollaborates with major gift officer to strategize and support cultivation and solicitation of donors and prospects and build pipeline.Works in conjunction with Foundation team to identify and implement strategies for prospective and current donors.Participates in stewardship and fundraising events. Attends all committee and Foundation Board meetings.Serves as back-up for gift recording and processes including acknowledgements and running reports in the donor system.Cultivates and maintains seamless relationship management for donors, prospects, major gift officer and Executive Director.Operates under general guidance and work assignments that are varied and require interpretation and independent decisions on course of action.Performs related duties as required. All responsibilities noted here are considered essential functions of the job under the American with Disabilities Act.Duties not mentioned here, but considered related are not essential functions.Job Qualification

Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.

2-4 years of relevant experience, required.

1 to 3 years of fundraising and donations campaigns, community outreach, and community development experience strongly preferred.

Course work in fundraising, marketing, communications, or related field a plus.

Demonstrated success in managing and meeting fundraising goals.

Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Strong organizational and time management skills.
