We provide advisory and technical services to ensure compliance, manage impacts, and reduce risks, including obtaining permits and approvals, decommissioning and restoring contaminated sites, and tackling climate change challenges and resilience. We focus on preserving habitats, water quality, stakeholder engagement and cultural resources, promoting a holistic approach to environmental impact management at every project stage. Our national hydrogeology team partners with clients across the mining, energy, infrastructure and government sectors. This role will primarily support our WA team and clients, delivering technically robust groundwater solutions for major projects across the state, while working closely with hydrogeology colleagues and multidisciplinary teams across Australia. The role can be based in any AECOM office nationally, with occasional travel to Perth or project locations based on team and client needs.How you’ll make a differencePlan, coordinate and deliver hydrogeological investigations and groundwater studies across mining, infrastructure and environmental projects throughout Western Australia.Lead field programs, including drilling oversight, aquifer testing, groundwater monitoring and sampling, while maintaining a strong focus on health, safety and quality.Develop conceptual hydrogeological models and prepare groundwater assessments, licensing applications, regulatory documentation, technical reports and proposals.Manage defined projects or technical workstreams, including coordinating resources, budgets, schedules and deliverables.Build effective relationships with clients, regulators and multidisciplinary project teams, while providing guidance and support to junior hydrogeologists.
