Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Administrative Assistant in the food industry, located in Syracuse, New York, United States. In this role, you will be an integral part of our team, providing support to our staff and ensuring the smooth operation of our day-to-day activities. Responsibilities: Manage all inbound and outbound communication, including phone calls and emails, ensuring professionalism and courtesy. Coordinate scheduling of order deliveries for partner agencies. Oversee the processing of incoming and outgoing mail, both within the organization and external. Contribute to the preparation of reports and presentations using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint. Arrange meetings, appointments, and travel itineraries for staff members. Maintain both electronic and hard copy filing systems, ensuring that all information is well-organized and easily accessible. Handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality. Order office supplies as needed and serve as the point of contact for all office equipment. Support the planning and execution of events and meetings, taking care of logistics, attendees, and materials. Perform general administrative duties such as photocopying, faxing, mailing, and filing. Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role as an Administrative Assistant Proficient in answering inbound and making outbound calls Exceptional customer service skills and ability to resolve queries effectively Strong data entry skills with high attention to accuracy Ability to manage email correspondence professionally and promptly Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word Experience in scheduling appointments and managing calendars efficiently Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
