Description We are offering a unique opportunity in the healthcare industry, specifically in hospitals and social assistance. Located in Syracuse, New York, we are in need of a Medical Scheduler to assist our team. This role focuses on providing administrative and scheduling support, as well as coordinating and managing various member documentation processes. Responsibilities: Provides administrative and scheduling support to Care Coordinators, Utilization Management and Care Management staff. Handles operational aspects of member documentation mailing process. Coordinates and schedules enrollment assessments for the Assessment RN. Regularly communicates with Members and collaborates with team members to support Members’ needs. Assists with contacting managed care applicants for scheduling enrollment assessments for the Assessment RN. Maintains accurate and up to date schedules for the Assessment RN. Collaborates with Care Management Supervisory staff regarding assessment scheduling issues and concerns. Ensures courteous, responsive, respectful, and knowledgeable customer service to internal and external customers. Manages various reports within EHR as directed. Actively participates in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities. Assists various departments with member contacts, faxing, mailing, scanning, etc. Performs clerical duties, such as filing, typing, copying, faxing, and taking messages, as directed by supervisor.Skills: Proficiency in Cerner Technologies, EHR SYSTEM, MEDITECH, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites Familiarity with About Time, Billing Functions, Clinical Trial Operations Strong Customer Service skills Ability to perform accurate and efficient Data Entry. Requirements Proficiency in using Cerner Technologies for medical scheduling Experience in utilizing EHR SYSTEM for managing patient records Familiarity with MEDITECH healthcare information system Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis Experience in using Microsoft Office Suites for effective communication and scheduling Knowledge of About Time software for efficient time tracking Familiarity with billing functions in a healthcare setting Understanding of Clinical Trial Operations and related scheduling needs Excellent customer service skills for interacting with patients and healthcare professionals Data entry skills for maintaining accurate patient records and scheduling details Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.   • Position is focused on Barnes Center integrated programming relating to Belonging and Thriving. The Outdoor Recreation Coordinator is supervised by the Associate Director for Outdoor Recreation and assists with managing and supervising all aspects of the team and leadership development areas including the indoor and outdoor challenge course and cross-country ski/snowshoe center programs and facilities. This position shares personnel management responsibilities that include the training, development and supervision of 30-40 student and non-student supervisors and facilitators. The Outdoor Recreation Coordinator will develop, implement and evaluate policies and procedures related to the programs and facilities within its oversight including but not limited to, emergency action plans, standard and local operating procedures, equipment inspection and replacement as well as all other related program policies and administrative processes. This position assists with daily operations and management of Outdoor Recreation adventure trips and climbing wall as needed.
