Position Summary Information Job Description Summary Responsible for coordinating patient flow at Onondaga Community College Quick Care and preparing patients for examination/treatment by provider. Ensure availability of appropriate equipment. Obtain patient histories, record vital signs, conduct required age specific screening per EPSDT guidelines, obtain specimens, escort patients as required. All services and communications are provided in a confidential manner consistent with Syracuse Community Health Confidentiality Policy and Procedure.Minimum Qualifications Associates Degree as a Medical Assistant or completion of a Medical Assistant Certificate program required. Three to six months of relevant experience required. Current Basic Life Support BLS certification.Licensure N/A Education Level Technical Certification Preferred Qualifications Bilingual preferred.Physical Demands Ambulatory – 95%Sedentary- 5%Subject to stress and FatigueSubject to repeated bending, squatting and stooping.Requires corrected vision and hearing within normal rangeSpecial Instructions to Applicants Pay Range – $19.00 – $19.95 per hour.This position is located at Onondaga Community College.
