Description 95% Remote Job! You only have to go into the office about 2 times a month. Chris Preble is working with a Syracuse client of his that has a newly created Medical Coding Manager role. This is a newly created position for the growing organization and they have terrific benefits.The successful candidate will play a fundamental role in the healthcare department, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of patient medical records coding in line with regulatory standards. This role involves leading a team of medical coders, encouraging a culture of excellence and accountability.Responsibilities: Take charge of the diagnosis, procedures, and medical services coding. Ensure the coding team consistently meets accuracy and productivity standards. Monitor coder productivity and quality, implementing corrective actions when necessary. Conduct regular coding audits and implement quality improvement initiatives. Maintain compliance with federal, state, and payer-specific guidelines. Act as an escalation point for complex coding issues and challenging cases. Collaborate with physicians, billing staff, and other departments to ensure accurate documentation and efficient revenue cycle management. Analyze coding and billing data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Develop and implement strategies to enhance revenue cycle performance.
