Partner closely with area hospital and community-based practices to ensure positive customer experiences with Bayer Hematology products through providing initial and ongoing clinical support;

Identify barriers to on-label brand use;

Develop strategic plan and implementation of area growth strategy;

Leverage clinical educational offerings and collaborates with sales specialists to achieve franchise objectives;

Obtain and maintain full proficiency in disease state, product and business knowledge to support the needs of accounts and the sales team;

Serve as disease and product expert to sales training and field force;

Identify, profile, develop and maintain relationships with new and identified advanced practitioner, nurse and physician thought leaders in the Hematology and Oncology community;

Build strategic, long term, productive relationships with KOLs, mid-level providers and nursing professionals;

Develop primary strategy and pull through initiatives for targeted hospitals and large accounts;

Have strong platform skills and persuasive communication abilities;

Serve as a liaison, educator and promotional conduit to Hematology/Oncology customer base;

Be able to educate, persuade and articulate favorable position for Bayer Oncology product portfolio;

Take leadership on project development initiatives;

Have a strong ability to solve problems;

Have a compliantly liaises with regional MSL at Bayer;

Provide Key Opinion leaders feedback to Bayer Marketing Committee;

Understand sales plan and strategically plans to meet or exceed sales goals;

Be a key driver in revenue generation;

Disseminate approved product education and communicate favorable positioning for Copanlisib;

Execute external disease state educational presentations and on label product presentations for dinner programs, round tables and society presentations;

Provide support for clinical initiatives, execute a territory business plan and team tactical plan supporting business needs;

Compliantly work with field commercial representatives to ensure healthcare provider education and support is provided in time sensitive fashion;

Have a strong persuasive communication skill set;

Have a strong self- starter;

Have a strong interpersonal skill;

Have excellent presentation and platform skills;

Demonstrate strong and concise business acumen;

Establish and maintain relationships with local/regional/national societies (i.e. ONS, ASH, ASCO, JADPRO and or relevant advocacy groups, i.e. LLS);

Identify potential barriers to on-label brand use of Copanlisib;

Generate new prescriber base for Copanlisib;

Develop, leverage customer partnerships into strong value proposition;

Be a proven self- starter and strategic planner;

Demonstrate leadership and understanding of reimbursement, healthcare trends and public policy;

Develop strong internal relationships with brand team, sales training, market research, CGC, sales leadership and sales team;

Serve as education conduit to Oncology/Hematology Specialists and Regional Managers;

Be an expert in promoted product knowledge;

Work in a collaborative team environment in a leadership capacity.

Hold a current license in nursing - RN, BSN, NP, APN, can hold P.A. degree;

At least three years of Hematology/Oncology clinical experience;

Clinical acumen, possess significant expert knowledge in hematology field and keep current, applies knowledge successfully to meet role expectations;

A written and verbal certification will be required upon hiring;

Have a background in performing nurse education and delivering presentations in both small group and large group settings;

Be able to handle extensive travel requirements (50-75%);

Strong interpersonal skills, with demonstrated effectiveness working independently and on cross-functional teams;

Established relationships with institutions and or hospitals in territory;

Understanding of hospital-based hematology/oncology departments.

Preferred Qualifications:

Oncology certification nurse (OCN);

Sales Experience;

Previous pharmaceutical industry experience;

Project management experience.
