40.00-42.00 per hour | Posted 09-May-2024 (EST) | Syracuse, NY, USA | Hourly | Part Time Physical Therapist Arc of Onondaga is looking for a dedicated, determined professional to fill the position of a Licensed Physical Therapist within our Clinic Services Department . In this role, you will be responsible for conducting clinical evaluations and assessments. The Physical therapist creates and implements the physical therapy treatment plans. Physical Therapy services may focus on improving and/or maintaining abilities for independent functioning, and preventing, as much as possible, the onset and progression of impairment, functional limitations and disabilities. All services are provided under the direction of the clinic's Medical Director. This position will also provide direct therapy. Reports directly to the Director of Clinical Services. Requirements:

Currently licensed and registered as a Physical Therapist by the NYS Department of Education.

One year in training or working with the developmentally disabled, or specialized training preferred.

A valid NYS driver's license.

  • The Addiction Treatment Counselor/Therapist performs assessments which include the identification of cultural differences in planning for patient care; provides treatment according to assignment to adults (and adolescents when appropriate) according to accepted standards; incorporates knowledge and theoretical concepts into all facets of interaction with patients; demonstrates competency in the provision of service; formulates diagnostic impressions; determines the appropriate level of care; provides appropriate referral for follow up; documents clearly, concisely and according to policy.
